I installed a replacement lcd for my nokia e65. After I install it and turn it on, the LCD blinks constantly in the Nokia screen. Do I need to reset the phone? But I can't do a hard reset because I haven't gotten pass the welcome screen.
I had the same problem. After replacing the lcd of the E65 myself, the screen went on and off every second. But in my case the phone fully booted and was functional appart from the blinking. I solved it by updating the firmware. I did not, as suggested frequently in this forum, exchange any wiring, flexcable or sockets. All I did was get a usb-cable (CA-53) and download Nokia Software Updater. That will take you through the process of the firmware update which is something different from just reseting. During this process the display stopped blinking. In my case my old firmware was 1.0633... the new is 3.0633 so probably the new one contains the correct driver for more recently produced displays. Good luck
