Somebody gave me one motorola SB 4100 cable modem , i tis working perfect but i can not gat internet connection, i need that u say me how can i connect this modem to the internet by any provider...

Yes that can be resolve by a firmware update and you can get the latest firmware from Motorola's web site and if after the update still have the same problem this is already a hardware problem of the unit and needs a replacement....
Create a temporary folder say C:\Motorola and put all your unzipped Motorola USB drivers. Install your Cable Modem. If and when Windows asked where the drivers may be located, point to the C:\Motorola.
If your modem has already been installed and operational and you simply want to update its current drivers > go to Device Manager and right click on your modem to update, likewise point to the C:\Motorola.
