Hi console stopped working. when turned on light goes blue then green then red

PS3 turn on goes green then flashing red is not a new issue. Please read this post and you can find the solution :

When the green light is on then GO, if the yellow is on SLOW DOWN, and if it is red STOP.

when you turn it on does the green and blue light tuen on
then a yellow light turns on
then it goes to a red flashing light

i think you should call sony and see what they say even if you are out of warenty

why wont my ps3 work again after using it from another house and bringing it back to my house it just doesnt reed it?

This is the yellow light of death i got it some time ago and had to buy a new ps3 there is a way to fix it but i costs more than a new ps3 i had to buy a new one so your screw lol.

same here but does the red light blink to if so turn it off and on and keep finger on until blue light comes on

Sounds like the gpus have lost contact and need to be reflowed.
It is best to send it to sony for $159.

try turning it off on the console and not with the controller. turning it off with controller turns it yellow. press and hold the power button on console for 5 seconds it should turn red.

the blu light means it is accessing a game/ blu ray

To be precise, you can turn this option off from the Wii System settings -> Wii Connect 24 -> standby connection -> off

When this setting is swiched to off, your console shuts down entirely and there is a RED light on the power button. There will be no need to turn off the console pressing the power button.
