Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console

1 Answer

PSP Hi, My son had the PSP outside and was listening to music on the PSP at the same time as he was playing football. The football bounced on the PSP and the PSP dropped to the floor. When I tried switching it on, we couldn't play any games and the screen went all weird. The screen is still intact and working but there are lines coming up all over the screen. Please help.

When the football hit the psp, it could have knocked some hardware out of place, possibly on the motherboard. If you know what you are doing, you could open up the PSP and re attach the piece, or find someone who knows how to fix it.

How do i play music on psp

Hey minimart,

If you kept all of the MP3's in the same file structure they were on your computer, this might explain why you are encountering this problem. Unlike some regular MP3 players, the PSP is unable to recognize anything beyond two folder levels. As an example, while your computer would be able to determine what "Music > Artist > Album > Songs" means, the PSP is not able to read anything beyond the "Artist" subfolder.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron

How can I get it fix

hi there

what you need to do is go to a service center and have the lcd replaced. there is no remedy for a cracked screen. btw, if you can buy just the lcd and have someone else install that, you can save a lot of money rather than sending it to a certified psp service center.

hope this will help.
