Please check the "aspect button on the remote and select either full ,just or 3 to 4 .......you may also have to chek the "zoom, format or aspect button on your cable or satellite remote as well. I doubt this is a defective tv......let me know!!

I have a PT-61LCX35 and It started out with red and green spots. When I turned tv on the picture was off center and enlarged. We could wait over nite and it would be fine the next day. Now it stays off center and enlarged.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

When using PS3 on RCA D52W19 TV, the screen does not fit ( it is zoomed and off-center) in 1080i resolution.

hello!
Have you tried to toggle "format" or "screen size"? On those sets non HD and HD settings could be adjusted separately. Try that, first. If no luck, try similar settings on PS3. I bet, you will be able to match screen format there, as well. To me it looks, like picture formats are mismatched. Also: try to use "component" cables, instead of DVI adapter cable, if nothing works.
good luck,
Alex.

My tv looks like its zoomed in, but in the menu its not. Any ideas?

If you checked in the tv menu and it's not zoomed in their then the issue might not be with the tv. If you are using a decoder check it to make sure it is not sending the picture to the tv already zoomed. Check the settings of your decoder or try hitting the # button on your remote, some products use that button to zoom the picture.

It appears that the image on the screen is zoomed in, but I can't figure out how to "undo" that. Thank you!

If the image on screen is zoomed both in vertical and horizontal direction, your TVs power regulator inside it is faulty. [Overvoltage]. If it is zoomed in vertical direction only, that is only the height of the picture is zoomed, you can adjust it with the remote control button directly on going through menu and get in to the function menu. Normally all TV remote has a special button marked as "Zoom" which on pressing it once the picture get zoomed, again another press the picture gets wide and again an another press picture will come to normal mode. You should select normal mode to retify the problem.

Zooming in

Unfortunately the image is not able to be saved if you have zoomed in on it. The camera does not have the ability to save images that way. You can download the image and use photo editing software to cause that zoomed in effect to happen so that you are able to print the image that way.
