Remove ribbon, pull the lever at the R. side towards you, lift out the P/W, check for bent or broken spokes, check P/W area for debris. Try it without the ribbon and correction tape.
Check for debris inside T/W, put some WD40 on the silver shaft that the carrier rides on. If these fail check the wiring harness about 1" from carrier you may find broken wires there.
NP means normal print. it should be printing. check to be sure ribbon is installed correctly and is moving, you can turn knob on ribbon and look at ribbon to see if it is moving. see if ribbon is used up. also make sure printhammer is latched forward
The forms obviously have a glossy surface, a fabric or multi strike ribbon will work. There is a impression control oh the l. side of the keyboard and also a bold feature, try max impression and bold.
