QuickCam 5.3 and Vista

Hi,

If you have the Original Installation CD for the Device.
Try installing from The CD.
If not try add/remove from the device manager.
if it,s USB Try, installing in A Different Slot ( Hub )
Look in the sys/devices to see if The Hardware has a Driver Problem ( yellow Exclamation Mark ) if so remove the device.
reboot computer, let the computer detect, and install.

Thankyou For using fixya.

Trying to get around buying a new webcam

When this happened to me with my web cams, Vista has always installed my cameras with the "Look 321P" driver, after I told it to "Search the 'net" for "Drivers". So try that it has worked for me on a number of occasions as I said.
