Usually there is a reset button on this devices. Takes a pin needle to reset. Sometimes a combination of buttons to be pressed to reset it. On your specific player the reset button is lower right corner. A tiny hole you would put a pin needle in for a second.
It's a glitch with Microsoft. All 30 gig units are affected. It's a
leap year and the extra day threw the software. Let it discharge
overnight and plug into your computer in the morning to load. Microsoft
is supposed to have a fix.
