If another account comes up, log out of it by clicking the little gear icon in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out."

If you then still can't log in to your account, click the "Forgot your password?" link located just below the password box on the login page.

Could you tell me the complete message you are getting while logging in to the facebook?

Also have you tried to log in the same account on another system ?

Try to log out of the Facebook Tool Bar then log back in with your gmail address. The option should be under preferences or accounts.

What do you mean by you can't access your account? Is it a wrong password? If it is, your account may have been disabled due to several wrong attempts in logging in. Facebook offers you a way to enable your account again by sending a verification code to your mobile phone, and then you'll have to enter the verification code back to facebook, so that facebook will know that you are the true owner of the said account.

Facebook will block your account when it detects a login from a location it doesn't recognise. For instance if you go on holiday and try to connect from a foreign country, you may be asked some questions before facebook will let you sign on again. Usually you will need to confirm that this is actually you trying to sign on by answering questions about your friends (such as who is this in this picture) or by entering some of your account information again. This is a one time test to make sure no one else is trying to access your account.

Go ahead and follow the on screen instructions and you should be able to sign on again.

To access you Facebook page, you will have to log out of the Facebook account of the person who last accessed Facebook on this computer.

To do this, kindly click the "Account" tab at the top-right of the Facebook page and select "Logout" from the drop-down menu. (See attached image)

Your account may be having maintenance done on it. Happens all the time to me. Give it a good 24 hours to see if its working again.
