i have a pavilion dv1000 and with windows vista i only get sound with external speakers
Dear Malc1975,In order for me to deal with this query for you, i will firstly need to know what yor make model and speifications are of the laptop you are using. In addition to this, the build version and rough aquisition date of windows vista home premium may also be essential.
I will also need to know if your laptop came pre-installed with windows vista on it, and if so, did your laptop include any discs or additional software within the package, or was it all bundled onto the machine, and you then create the discs when you need them?
Note: most manufacturers of new systems will pre-bundle their software onto machines prior to dispatch....Although it sounds too late to back this up, after i have resolved your issue fo you, it will be essential that you backup your ENTIRE system to prevent any furthe loss, or permanent corruption of data.
