FACEBOOK QUESTION

I deleted a document on facebook that had been sent to me
in Dec or Jan
How can I retrieve this message? Please let me know if this can be done and how. thanks

What document was it? I am afraid that documents can be sent through facebook. Please clarify so that we can help you better.

There is a way of recovering deleted facebook messages.
In order to recover a facebook conversation:
You must receive email notifications from facebook, telling you when someone sent you a message. Ex. Paul Wilson sent you a message on facebook
Click on that link.. If you have already deleted the notification, go to your deleted messages inbox (hotmail)..
(It's impossible to completely remove something from a computer!)
At the bottom of the message, you will see a link, click on the link that says :
To reply to this message, follow the link below :
ex. http://www.facebook.com/inbox.php?lh=0e5633de8d92e7fab7145ffc710260dc&
then click on : SHOW DELETED THREAD.
Done!

You can't delete a Facebook account, only deactivate. Try to log-in to your account or retrieve your password. You will receive a link on your email on how to reset/resolve it.

All over the world, in all sites and with all service providers, msgs are a private thing. Hence no one keeps a copy with them. And whatever you had you have deleted them. Facebook does not have an equivalent of Recycle Bin. Hence whatever is deleted stays deleted for ever. Sorry for the answer but you must face facts.

I don't think they can be retrieved. I'm pretty sure once you delete a message on Facebook, it's gone for good since there's no trash can.

For some reason Facebook won't accept my email address. Why????

have you tried putting you email address and making sure that capslock is turned off, if so and it still wont accept your email as you say try retrieving your password put your email click forgot password it will prompt you to input your personal for password rest and retrieval, this happened to me as well but I found out I was hacked, because when I got to change my password and enter my facebook all my personal pictures were deleted and messages were sent to my friends saying I was hacked with a smiling face on the message .

If I need to retrieve deleted messages how can I get them back?

The only way for you to recover facebook messages is thru the notification email sent to you thru the email account that you are using to login to facebook. Whenever a message was sent to you, you receive a notification email. Notice the part of the email that says:

To reply to this message, follow the link below :

Click on that link.

After that, click on : Show Deleted Thread.
