Open Control Panel. For windows, depending on version of windows, should be one that points to Screen Settings, and then to Orientation, may be a dropdown arrow, click on the one that says landscape, it somehow got changed Landscape(Flipped) the other setting is Portrait(Flipped) . the picture above the settings should show the screen orientation change when you click the way you want it to be set.

I have an e528 emachine and my screen is in landscape view instead of portrait view, how doi change it back? Now everything is sideways instead of up and down.

Hi and welcome to fixya!

To change the view of your screen, just simply press alt + ctrl + the arrow keys. It will "turn" your screen. Just stop when you finally have the view that you want.

This will certainly help.

My computer screen is turned sideways. How do i get it back to normal?

Some video cards support screen rotation. You may have accomplished this by pressing CTRL + ALT + Left Arrow. To change it back simply press CTRL + ALT + Up Arrow. If this does not work then try restarting. If that does not work you may have to change your view from Landscape to Portrait in you video card software program. If it is an Nvidia card then open display properties>>Settings>>nvrotate.
