I have a paslode airless framer that wont fire. New batterry & fuel cell. It make the noise but wont fire

Hello harderconstr, I have that nail gun myself, and when it's working good it is a great tool to have.
Here are a few suggestions.
1. Remove the battery, make sure that you don't have a nail jammed in the the firing chamber, that has happened to mine before.

2. Adjust the depth tension on the end of the gun. You should have an alen wrench to loosen the adjuster at the tip. Slide the adjuster away from the gun, ( out ) as far as it will go and then tighten it back down. Reinstall the battery and try it again. You can re-adjust the tension after you see if this helps the problem. The adjuster on my gun was worn and I needed to adjust the tension to get it firing again.
3. I also got a new battery for my gun, and what I found was I really had to slide the battery in pretty hard to get it to click in place. Also, when you hold the gun in your right hand, the thumb side of the handle should have a very small LED light, red means it's not ready to fire, green means it is ready to fire. Make sure you have a green light.
I hope this helps you my friend!

Adjusting airpresure

There is nothing on a nailer to adjust the air pressure. You have to do it at the pressure regulator. It is feasable to mount a regulator at the gun but more likely it's on the compressor. Most nail guns are rated for 90 to 120 psi. Set your regulator to hold the hose pressure between 90 and 100 psi. Using higher pressure to set the nail will ruin your nailer. Use the depth adjustment on the gun to set how far the nail is driven.

How to ajust air on the gun

Air pressure to the gun is generally specified by the manufacturer. You should have a fluid volume adjustment and a fan adjustment. Set the fluid so that you are not having running/slipping material problems and the fan adjustment so that you don't have an un-coated area in the middle of the spray pattern. Hope this helps!

How to adjust the controles on my hvlp spray gun

your top adjuster is for the air (or to adjust the fan of the gun) turn it to make the fan wide or small.

the next one right below the top is for the material (paint, stain, etc) turn it in for less material or out for more. if you unscrew this one all the way you will be able to access the needle.

these is the two mane adjusters on a hvlp gun. you may have another adjuster on the bottom of the handle. this is your air presser regulator and will control the amount air going through the gun but i always use my own.
hope this helps

Gun will not drive pins flush with wood. Wood is

What is your air pressure setting. A finish nailer such as this usually requires 70 lbs to drive flush. Adjust air to this value and test fire in scrap. Keep adjusting air presure until nail drives flush.

Manually adjust color guns (no remote)

I would get universal remote and start there first. Since adjusting the screens or guns is usually not required or helpful for basic color adjustments.

I have constant air pressure out of hvlp nozzle without pulling handle

have you tried to adjust the air regulator on the rear of the gun! there should be two adjusters, one to adjust the paint flow rate and the other to adjust the air flow rate! if you have tried this then the rubber sealer has perished inside the gun! unscrew the controller and replace the seals!
kind regards

Hitachi NR 83A2S, Nail wont fire properly

The NR83a has an adjustment just below the triggering plunger. It is a 6mm hex head bolt with a locking nut. Loosen the nut and adjust screw out several turns and re-test. Make adjustment as necessary. I have seen many of these gun without the locking nut which allows the bolt the adjust itself all the way down. AS parts wear this screw needs to be adjusted. The pushing lever and the plunger are wearing smaller/shorter, that is unless the locking nut was missing. Remove gun from air supply for safety when making adjustments. Good Luck an email if you have other qustion about this gun.

Spray painting operation advice for Binks mach 1 hvlp spray gun

Hey paul its paul. I posted on here so hopefully you will give me some feedback. That is a very nice gun. One of my favorite. I'm guessing you know how to use a HVLP gun but if not here are a few tips. Make sure it is clean. Very clean. Your gun probably came with a manual, you should read it. It will help you greatly. First off, you want to have a regulator, about 40 psi is what i start with. You need a space you can practice some painting before laying down a new coat on the corvette. Haha. So next you will have a pressure adjustment knob, you want to start with this all the way closed and with the trigger pulled, just half way so just air is coming out adjust the air until it sounds even. Next you can try to spray. If it seems like the Fan, like the width is not enough you can adjust the fan, another knob, closer to the back of the gun, you ussually want about 5-6 inches of fan, if you are spraying at the normal 6-8 inches back from the piece. Last adjustment is the fluid adjustment, you want to put on a decent amount of paint, clear or primer, and not cause runs. This is going to take some practice because everyone moves at a different speed.

So you are going to have to play with your gun and figure out which knob does what. After that these instructions should get you a bit further, with some practice you will be laying down a nice paint job in no time.

Paul.
