Brother MFC 9420CN Error message on power up -- "No TR Roller - Install Transfer roller" I recently bought this machine used. On power up the Error Message displays. The TR Roller was in place and I pulled,inspected, and reinstalled it according to the instructions on the Brother site. I still get the error message indicating the TR Roller is not installed. Is this a common problem and can anyone suggest a fix for it? Many thanks;

This error has already been noticed by Brother and they have a fix for this issue. This message will appear on your Brother machine if the ground clip is not present on the Transfer Roller Assembly. The clip can become dislodged due to a paper jam or removal of the Transfer Roller assembly.
Unplug the printer and allow it to cool. Then gently wipe off the surface of the photo-sensitive drum with a cotton swab. If this doesn't work you may need to replace the drum.
You probably have the new roller by now. But just incase the problem continues, clean the high voltage contact on the right side for the roller and on the drum unit itself. If it is dirty you'll get light printing.
This web site below have the guide to replace the belt and how to reset them http://www.simplyinked.com/support/index.php?tsrc=knowledgebase&act=117&category=C5
Replacing the transfer roller 1 Turn off the machine’s power switch. 2 Open the back cover of the machine. 3 Release the transfer roller lock levers on the right and left-hand sides, and then lift the levers to release the transfer roller. 4 Take out the transfer roller by gently pulling the right-hand side up and sliding the transfer roller to the right. 5 Put in the new transfer roller by holding the lock levers of the transfer roller and adjusting the angle of the transfer roller lever shafts (both sides) to match the transfer unit grooves. Put the transfer roller onto the shafts and place the roller onto the springs as shown below: 6 Push the lock levers down to lock the transfer roller into place. 7 Close the back cover. 8 Turn the machine’s power switch back on.
