Question about Washing Machines

1 Answer

Have a "smartdrive 703" washing

Have a "smartdrive 703" washing machine which makes a loud screech noise at almost the same place each time the inner drum turns when on wash program, but no noise when on spin cycle, was wondering if this a poss. belt noise/slip or if it is a direct drive, could it be a bearing noise. also any ideas where to find spare parts listings or component breakdown diagrams. thanks... Sean.

Washer makes a loud, pulsing, screeching noise with no spinning

Sounds like a transmission problem. Not worth the repair judging from age.

When entering spin cycle, making a loud noise. I

Check your belt it may be lose. A lose belt will cause a squealing noise and the machine spin slower or take time to come up to full speed

Loud screeching noise when spin cycle is on

Good morning! Possibly the noise was due to improper placement of load into the spinner which should be within its capacity load. best regards.
