Open the photo from photo gallery, doubleclicking orn it or selecting it with one click. Ensure in last case it is marked in blue. It should print the right photo in this way.

Computers and software, if they are working they do what is told them. When they are not working, they get stuck or do operations that have no sense. It is rather difficult that printer prints a completely different photo (was it from a different folder too?) because of a fault on PC or software.
It is possible that the printer was printing a document sent to the printer cue before.
Open printer doubleclicking on printer icon on 'installed printers, and empty printer cue.
Eventually disconnect printer from power cable for one minute or two so to reset documents in printer memory.
Ensure that you selected the right picture checking that is selected in foto pictures, as described above.
It is likey that there is something wrong with the procedure you are using to print. If all the above do not work we will need more details on how you print using photo gallery (do you select single picture, do you open the picture in editor ond chose file/print from menu etc.).
Try also to print from windows/ my documents / my pictures, and see if it works

It will be also useful to know if the pictures you ask to print are in same folder as the ones coming out .

Hello

Large photos are printed differently than regular photos.

Photos that have large resolutions or are best when printed in larger sizes are sometimes printed on multiple pages. Printing the photo on two or more pages requires setting up the printing options so that the printer recognizes how the photo should print and which areas to stop printing on each page.

Open the photo in iphoto

Select "File" and scroll down the list until reaching "Print". Click on "Print" and wait for the printing set up options. Some programs require selecting "Set up" or "Print set up" instead of "Print." Make sure the set up options are brought up according to the program.

Select "Time Imageable Table" or similar options in the program. If there is not an option with a similar title, look over the various titles and any pictures that come with the titles and see if the pictures show multiple pages or only a single page. Click on the options that allow printing one photo on multiple pages.

Select overlap options, which give margins so that connecting the pages forms the picture. Overlap around 1/2 inch or so.

Print the photo. The number of pages should match the set up options selected under the imageable table.

Able to print documents on HPc4385, but cannot print photos

When you were connected with a USB cable was it connected to the computer your using as local? Are you using a wirless print server? Possible corrections are in the properties of your print setup. You can change the spooling properties to print immediately to require less memory.

Ink Color Issues

Did you change any of the configurations on your printer. Most photo printers have color settings that are media dependent. It sounds like you might have it set to print on regular paper but not on photo paper. There are a lot of settings that you can accidentally change on a printer so I would suggest uninstalling the printer then reinstalling it and see if that is the issue.

Partial photos

I have a Canon IP6700D that I was having the same problem with. I adjusted my virtual memory (increasing it) and changed from spooling to printing directly to the printer in the control panel. It seems to have corrected the problem. Hope this helps you.

Printing digital photo on 8x11

Right click on the photo to be printed and select edit. When the picture is displayed pull down file and select 'page set up'. Set to fit 1 to 1 pages. Leave the margins and center were they're at. Pull down file and select 'print preview'. If this fits covers most of the page , type c (this closes this window and returns you to the previous one).and pull down file and select 'print'. If not again type c, select file and 'page set up' again and select land scape. If this is better, print this

Error B8e7b69c

I have had this issue happen to me when trying to print a photo from my windows picture program and from the window photo gallery program on Vista. I believe the problem is a compatibility issue with the windows Vista photo programs. I was able to print very well using another photo program. So i suggest printing from another photo program. My camera came with one that is pretty basic and good at fine tuning the pictures. I used the Canon zoombrower ex program and it printed all my pictures well. I think most digital cameras come with some type of photo editing program. You should try printing from it instead widows photo folders or windows photo gallery. Using my camera's photo software solved my issue well. try this out to see if it works for you. good luck

I've been fighting the same. Did some hunting on the HP and MS web sites. Found a "work around". Not what I wanted but at least I can scan. I think HP Director is gone for Vista users. :(

Scanning with Windows Photo Gallery
1. Click the Start ( ) icon.
2. Click All Programs .
3. Click Windows Photo Gallery .
4. Click File and then click Import From Scanner or Camera .
5. Click Import .
6. Click Scan .
