J ai beaucoup de probleme avec mon desktop p4p800-mx chassis intruded

You have a problem with the Chassis Intrusion part, of the Asus P4P800-MX motherboard?

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_478/P4P800MX/#download

The Chassis Intrusion header is below the CMOS battery to the left.
It is in-between the two black SATA connectors.

It is a 4-pin header.
From -> LEFT to RIGHT pins are numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Put a Jumper Cap on Pins 3 and 4, and bypass the Chassis Intrusion option.

In the -> OS box, click on the blue Down Arrow. Now click on Windows XP.
In the drop down list, click on the + sign to the left of Manual (5)

Version E1880 - P4P800-MX user's manual (English version) E1880
Click on the blue -> Global

Go to Page 35. (PDF file page. Manual page is 1-25)
Chassis intrusion connector (4-1 pin Chassis1)

I am getting nothing but a green light on my motherboard when I plug the power supply half way in to the motherboard the fan and processor start running but when I plug it all the way in it stops and...

I would need to know what all you are trying to run in your computer to offer much assistance, but hot plugging power cords in computers is a good way to fry the motherboard. It sounds like you don't have a big enough power supply for everything you are trying to power, so that when you connect enough of the power plugs, the supply shuts down from trying to draw to much current.

If you post your hardware specs, I will try to offer more assistance.

Hello, no sound on motherboard Asus P4P800; probably no good driver for AC97 on this motherboard. Can you give me a good hint. The best would be *.iso file of Asus CD for this motherboard. Thank you....

I would strongly recommend you to re-install the sound driver. If you don't have or if you don't know the correct driver, you can download it from HERE. The selected drivers are for windows xp, you may need to reselect the Operating System (O.S) from the O.S: box on the page. If the installed O.S on your computer is Windows xp, click the "Audio" link and download from the download links (will be displayed once you click the "Audio"). Download and install, it should work if there's no other issue with your sound card or etc..

Let me know if you need further help.
Good Luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.
