My ASKO W600 slowly fills with water after it has completed the wash and spin cycle. The machine is 5 - 6 years old and runs perfectly otherwise. How is the water inlet controlled to the machine? Can there be dirt/debris somewhere preventing the incoming water to be completely shut off?

Set a cycle, it will go around and around until manually turn the off button.... Nothing working, fills up, but does not spin.

Sounds like your circuit board has a problem. go to www.repairclinic.com. Look up washing machines and enter your model number, then a list of parts show up, they have a trouble shooting column. They have videos and the parts you will need.

Asko w600 front load washer did not spin water out of clothes. I emptied the drain pump and now it fills with water but doesnt wash the clothes. The water drains out but nothing else. Help

Check to see if your model has a "out of balance" micro switch.
If it's tripped from you moving the unit around you may have to reset it manually. It will be mounted somewhere close to the outer perimeter of the tub. Can't say exactly where. Could be high or low.

I have an asko w600 front load washer, seems to wash ok, but will not go into spin cycle, drain pump operates - slowly, but does not start spin cycle. saw somewhere on net that pump may be faulty

Hello Greg, welcome to FixYa.
To address your post of the washer not spinning and your curiosity of a faulty pump...the pump may simply be obstructed preventing a proper drain, thus a compromised spin, they are directly related. These frontloaders will not spin until they drain sufficiently. (though a faulty drain pump is possible, it woud be the exception, not the rule).
There is typically a drain filter in the pump as you may or may not know, based on your description it may be clogged. You'll need to access it, clean it out via draining it through the pump "emergency drain hose" before you can in the end open the door (though usually once drained to a safe level it will open under normal procedures) however there should be a door lock release on Asko built machines...including the W600 series.
This is the procedure for machines of the past 10yrs. or so...(this is only an example, it may not be exact but essentially the same as yours)

Hopefully this will help. Let me know if anything is unclear or If I can assist you going forward. Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck going forward.
Regards,
Macmarkus :)

I have an Asko W600 front load washer that does not spin water out of clothes. It fills, washes, empties but does not spin- skips this part.

Hi

First make sure that nothing is blocking the drain pump assembly located inside the bottom of the unit, after this test the door lock-switch assembly. If the door lock-switch is also fine then the control board should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Asko front loader, fill with water but won't wash, drains water OK

Hi, Have you removed the back panel to insure the belt is on ? What about the spin cycle, will it spin ? (That will also tell you the belt is good by the way) I'll watch for your reply. Regards, Macmarkus :)

Machine won't spin

Hi, can you start the unit without any clothes in it, let it fill with water as usual and then observe if it tumbles in both directions during the wash cycle ? ( I don't mean the entire cycle, just long enough to insure it rotates in both direction ). Then turn it to drain and insure it drains completely, observe the spin cycle if you can and report if it only spins in one direction slowly. This will go a long way in diagnosing your Asko washer. Let me know what you find. If it only goes one way, the motor needs new brushes and possibly a complete motor if the armiture is damaged. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

Asko 10505 runs through was cycle in approx. 30 seconds, then wont drain. Simply stops. It doesnt matter which cycle I start with, the dial moves quickly to stop. It fill with water and spins. ANY HELP...

hi sir' start the wash machine empty and see if it happens when nothing is in it.
2. When machine is off, open the top grab the centerpiece inside the wash machine and pull and push it slowly, does it move? (For safety unplug the machine)
3. Make sure machine is 100% level (front to back, left to right)

The most common thing is bad drum bearing, which force the wash machine out of whack when in spin / wash. Which are common and the best thing is to call Maytag.

thank u .........................................please rate

Asko W600 spin cycle not working

Check the brushes oin the motor. It's the most normal fault when this problem appears. Not a big thing to fix for a technician!
