Hi,

The only solution to fix this problem is to get it serviced or just replace the unit if it is still under warranty.

You can try out a hard reset by unpluggng the unit for 30min and then plug it back.

Goodluck,
Please don't forget to rate the solution.

There is something on the connection because it is repeatatively sending infos to your player, try to disconnect it and try checking the cables on how you set it up.

Just try to connect the power source to it and turn it on, if it give you the same results, Hardware issue. If not then try plugging other cables one by one.

It seems that there might be a loose contact somewhere the power wiring.
Have you check that?
Is very unlike that 3 devices have exactly the same failure.

Check the connector that has all the wires for oxidation and you might need to clean them with rubbing alcohol.

Is there a way to wire in for an ipod

Only way would be via a FM modulator which I would not recommend. There is no Aux input cable or port on the XMD2.

I would recommend upgrading to a newer model with full ipod control and charging capabilities. Any Clarion dealer can help you with that.

HOW TO GET MY MP3 PLAYER TO WORK WITH MY PIONEER SUPER TUNER III? BOUGHT ADAPTER THAT PLUGS IN THE BACK OF RADIO, IS THERE CERTAIN STATION OR BUTTON?

If you changed the rear DIN cable to AUX with an adapter, you may need to turn the AUX/Changer feature on. Pioneer is not a brand I sell, but I am pretty sure you just go through the menu to turn it on. If you can't find the option in the main menu, try turning the deck off, and accessing the menu there.

I have a Clarion installed in my boat. Sirrius, cd am fm. No jack to plug in iPod. Solution?

FM Modulator.

(clarion makes a hardwire direct connect one)

FM200

You would use a 3.5mm to RCA adapter

There are also battery powerd ones (Belkin)

Either one is used by simply tuning in to an empty (white noise) radio station.

Im assuming the XMD3-RET is not the radio you are inquiring about since you described Sirius as a feature.

Some clarion radios have an AUX input or changer port that can be converted to an ipod cable.

If you reply with a model # i can look it up for you. I am a Clarion Dealer.

Subwoofer out problem

Thats an installation error. I'm almost 100% sure whoever hooked up your amplifier hooked the amp turn on to your power antenna wire. If there is no amp turn on wire, the accessory wire will do.
