The touchscreen should be on by default. Does it not work when you use the system? (ie touching something on the screen, touching and dragging, etc)

Check all drivers are loaded for the touchscreen interface, if they are remove them and re-install.

If that doesn't solve your issue I would check the cable that connects the touchscreen and that the touchscreen is fitted correctly.

If it is TouchSmart you have an issue with, go to the control panel and select touchscreen configuration. Make sure your global touchscreen settings are set to enabled. Click save and then close.

If this is not the issue it is possible there are hardware damages to the touch screen. Has it been dropped at all?

check MENU settings may be touchscreen is off ,else touchscreen loop is broken

check all the cable connectors, reinstall the driver, if all else fails, the touchscreen glass / controller need replacement

I am Ashish from India. First check that Which part is not worked like the touchscreen or LCD? Was it damaged? If your LCD is damaged than replace it with new one with original or Chinese one. If your touch pad is damaged than change only touch pad not entire LCD and Touch pad. Than check your phone again. If your phone still give a problem than flashing the software. When you first begin using the PC, or if you have intermittent problems using the touch screen, you should calibrate the touch screen and set up the screen preferences.


NOTE: The touch screen works best if only the stylus, and not your hand, is touching the screen. If you rest the palm of your hand on the screen for comfort, you will have to press the pen more firmly onto the screen.
