Something is wrong with the disc magazine. Or the unit is malfunctioning for some reason. 99 E:
Check the disc magazine. And then, press the reset button on the unit.
If the "99E" code does not disappear, consult your nearest service center.

I had the same problem. I opened up the unit and found out that there is a plastic gear that moves the loader. When worn the loader can not load tha magazines nor change cd's. I replaced the gear and the cd autochanger worked fine.
