Callers cant hear me but i can hear them

Hi,

Turn off your blackberry and take the battery out, place it back in and turn it back on.

If this fails to work then your mouthpiece is faulty, please contact a blackberry certified personnel within your area.

It would cost you below $20 to fix this.

I cant find the browser icon. iwant to know how to restore the browser icon of my phone blackberry 7290 rim so that i can surf the net using it

First, you will need to download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5

Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device.

Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues.

If the issue is still present, then it could be hardware related, and may need to be repaired or replaced. I would then suggest contacting your Provider for Hardware Support.

My battery is draining on my Blackberry Curve

The walk thru for updating your phone software is quite extensive (would be alot of typing). First you need to check your software version against your provider's most recent version. You find this by going to settings>options>about. When you update there are two main things you must have - 1.) the most recent version of Blackberry Desktop Manager and 2.) the most recent version of your device software, both are installed on your computer and should be available though the Blackberry website. I can provide you with KB article numbers from the Blackberry support site for the rest. Go to www.blackberry.com/support and search KB13427 and KB03621.
