ERR message just can't seem to figure ot what the error is and I can't take any photos whilst this is flashing. I have misplaced my manual.....i put it in a "safe" place. so frustrated. took battery out and replaced. didn;t "fix" it. HELP!

Try to clean the contacts on the battery door. I used an erraisor lightly on the contacts... also try photo NMHI batterys they are for cameras... they hold more power then regular batteries...and last resort remove batteries for 6 min .. this is called a hard reset if that don't work than take it back to the place where you purchased..lens error message very seldon ever get fixed.
