Mini sd card

Why doesn't it show the additional 2 gigs when i insert the sd mini card? And does the sansa automatically read the additional memory?

I have an E250 also. My pc reads my micro sd card through the sansa, but the music I put on the card is not available to play on the sansa. Have tried switching USB modes.

    Any thoughts?

Most times the card would have to be formated in the device that is using it.

Don't know if your sansa supports from the settings, info tab to select sd card and format, if not attach to pc (settings usb) and the first memory displayed will be internal the second will be microsd card.

When insert mini sd 2 gig to computer it massage :please insert a disk to drive ... please help me

Insert your mini sd into the USB port.
  • Click Start/ My computer/Manage/Disk Management
  • Right click on the partition corresponding to your removable media and select Change Drive Letter and Paths
  • Finally change the drive letter (like W: or Y:). It is very unusual for Windows to use these letters.

Pantech deo wont read sd memory card i have music on the card and the sd icon apears at the top of my phone but when i go into my music its not there.....another web sight told me to go to libary update in...

What size is your SD card? I've been reading elsewhere that the Pantech Duo doesn't support anything over 2 gig. Mine is a 4 gig and I am experiencing the same problem. It should have an option to click "storage" but it isn't there. It shows I have an SD installed as well. What you could do is upload what you have on your existing SD card to your computer, buy a 2 gig and transfer it over and see if that fixes the problem. It should.

My sansa player does not recognize a micro sd when its inserted

Sorry, it doesn't work that way. You can use a separate card reader to put files onto the microSD card. When the card is installed into the Sansa, the Sansa will see the additional music.

Additional SD card memory installed in the card slot

Check to see if it is the proper SD card. while several size ( memory) cards may fit the port the player may only recognise a 2 or 3 gig card.

IPAQ 6515 doesn't recognize new HP 8Gig SD card

Your 8 Gig card is a SDHC (HC=High Capacity) Card. All HC cards use a different format, which the 6515 can't use...

The biggest capacity the 6515 can use is 4 gig on the SD and 2 gig on the mini SD.

My 4g Transcend card and 2g Sandisk cards have been faultless for about 2 years now.

Sorry, but the 8 gig card is a wonderfull card, but is useless in a 6515

Not recognizing the memory card

if the micro sd is HC the sansa will not read it because it does not have the right firmware and connection to read an 8 GIG if you want that get a sansa view

Sd micro card

it might not work because as i know the maximum external mem that you can put in sch-u740 is just 2-gig micro sd... that's why it won't work and there were times that it might shut down or turned off automatically....

4GB micro sd card.

According to what I've read, you can double the original memory, but no more than that, so the max you can have on a Sansa e250 would be 4 GB (2GB internal memory and 2GB external memory). I also read that the micro SD cards holds
music only-no video.

Can't copy songs on to SD 2 gig Card in Sansa e250

the card shows up as a separate drive letter, remember that
when the card is in the player, look for the second drive letter in My Computer and add the songs to it not the first; yes the card will show up in your library on the player only after you have unplugged it and restarted the player.
