Hi there. I experienced that same problem before, i would suggest you connect your Apple iPod Nano directly to the computer that you first attached it to and synched with your iPod, then Open iTunes. After that disconnect your iPod from the computer and it will be unlocked. Hope this helps. Glad to be of service.
Just do a reset. Hold down menu and select till the screen goes blank. The iPod logo should then show up and iPod will start up again as though just turned on. Otherwise, take the back off, disconnect the battery and reconnect again.
are you using the same windows account / itunes as your wife? if so her ipod may be primary...if you & wife have different windows accounts....you can bring up itunes set up your very own (you will be able to add/delete all the songs you want) hope this works out for you
Hello bsureshmkr, If you have locked your iPod and cannot remember the unlock code you will need to use your iTunes software to unlock the MP3 player. Connect the player to the primary computer you use to add music to the iPod. Then start iTunes and synch the player as normal. When you are done synching and disconnect the iPod from the computer it will be unlocked. Best Regards, Ken "Go Ahead. Use Us."
I remembered that I had to reset my ipod once before and since I had already uninstalled and reinstalled itunes I thought it must be the ipod. So, I pushed the enter and the play buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds to reset the ipod and when I connected it to itunes this time, it was working!!!
