How to unlock and ipod

Hi there. I experienced that same problem before, i would suggest you connect your Apple iPod Nano directly to the computer that you first attached it to and synched with your iPod, then Open iTunes. After that disconnect your iPod from the computer and it will be unlocked.
Hope this helps. Glad to be of service.

I am having a problem syncing my ipod with itunes. it synchs about 140 songs and then does not respond. I have tried everything from reboot, reinstalling, restoring and formatting the ipod.

I actually fixed the problem.... I change the letter of the drive that the ipod was showing e.g, IPOD (G:) changed to IPOD (I:).

You have to plug in the ipod, right click on my computer and go into Manage.

You then click on Disk Management, highlight ipod in the right hand pane. You then right click ipod and chang the letter of the drive.

Then disconnect the ipod, reconnect and restore and hey presto!

Ipod is on do not disconnect. cannot turn off

Just do a reset. Hold down menu and select till the screen goes blank. The iPod logo should then show up and iPod will start up again as though just turned on.
Otherwise, take the back off, disconnect the battery and reconnect again.

How to release screen lock

Hello bsureshmkr,

If you have locked your iPod and cannot remember the unlock code you will need to use your iTunes software to unlock the MP3 player. Connect the player to the primary computer you use to add music to the iPod. Then start iTunes and synch the player as normal. When you are done synching and disconnect the iPod from the computer it will be unlocked.

Best Regards,
Ken

Ipod synching

I remembered that I had to reset my ipod once before and since I had already uninstalled and reinstalled itunes I thought it must be the ipod. So, I pushed the enter and the play buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds to reset the ipod and when I connected it to itunes this time, it was working!!!
