Ok well recently my mum got the new iphone 3gs as she had droped and smashed the touch screen of her iphone 3g, so she said i could have it, i went to ebay and bought a replacement screen for $20 australian which included all the tools to repair it. everything went fine, i repair the iphone and it worked perfectly. I then went ahead and jail broke it and unlocked so i could use my current sim card in the phone (network : 3). The problem is now that after a few months of using the fixed phone today i relised the the bottom half of the screen just completely stopped working with no warning. The phone is now stuck on the lock screen as i an able to slide across the tab. I tried restarting and nothing happened, i reformatted the iphone and still nothing. The apple 1 year warrenty is up and i really dont want to have to take it into an apple store ( due to jail breaking etc) so is there any way to repair this ( i have heard talk of reinstalling screen drivers or something) or is the digitizer broken and should i buy another $20 screen from ebay or i pray not but is my iphone buggered?
Go to http://custompod.co.uk/ and email them for more information
They will also give you a price for the work, and you wont have to remove the jailbreak
