I changed the timer on the washer, now it will not get any water. It filled fine with old timer, just would get stuck at new station. I put old timer back on to see if it would fill, but it wouldnt. Did I maybe wire something wrong. Everything else seems to work fine, it goes to drain and spin. Any suggestions? Thanks

Re: Maytag washer lse7804a won't fill
With the timer in the wash position on any cycle do you have 120 volts on the selenoids that the water hoses are connected to with the temp selector set for warm wash and timer knob pulled out? if you do then the water inlet valve is the issue, if no voltage you could have gotten a defective timer

I HAVE AN ATLANTIS MAYTAG WASHER . I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND I SOLVED AS FOLOLWS. REMOVED THE MOTOR, I APPLIED GENERAL PURPOSE GREASE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE SLIDING MOTOR SURFACE PLATE (MOTOR BASE) . THE GRASE HELPS THE MOTOR TO SLIDE BECAUSE AS YOU KNOW THE MOTOR DOES NOT HAVE ANY ADJUSTMENT. TRY IT PLEASE . GOOD LUCK
