My vz ss blaupunkt radio says voice in and wont turn off, how do i fix this?

Any radio can be fixed, it's a matter of whether it is worth fixing. In the case of most modern car stereos, they are typically not worth repairing. The Blaupunkt of today is not the German-made radio it once was and are a pretty low-end brand. I'd recommend buying a new stereo.

Try to turn det knob 2 the left, and you will feel like your turning it off like you would take off a nut, if that dosent work, go to a Garage and Ask them 2 hjelp you for 5 minutts :)

My Car was also stuck at "VOICE IN". I pulled the 15amp fuse to non avail. It still happened when I started the car next.
I ejected all the CD's. Pulled the fuse and same problem (but I left the CD's out just in case).
Then I did the hard off (ie. hold 4 and off for about 10 seconds). This did not work straight away so I switched it off and gave up. A few hours later I turned the radio on and it's been working well ever since (24 hrs 4 drives).
Let me know if this works for you. Or if you got the same result with the CD's left in just doing the "Hard Off" for a few hours.

There is often a fuse on the right hand side of the socket connector at the rear (when the car wiring plugs in )

With me. I pressed the + volume button once from 13 to 14 and it went all the way to 30 ( highest volume) and wont go back down. it also wont let me go to the radio now

could you give me the part no. of your unit? 7 *** *** ***, maybe i can give the defination of the jack and wiring.

Hi in most cases the mod kit will fix the problem. other wise its a new unit as Blaupunkt only supply the mod kit or a new mech...
