When i push the power on button it won"t turn on . the blue power light flashes yellow three times

Google Dell W2600 blink codes. You're tv is doing a self diagnostic and letting you know what's wrong with by flashing the yellow light. Count how many time and if there is a sequence to it, then look it up.

Dell w2600 wont turn

Same problem, this is my solution. The system will start everytime if starting from power off one starts from sleep. Thus the trick is to use sleep mode to shut it down. I do not use the sleep function on the remote (it would be worth a try, let me know if you do that), but rather I have chose VGA as the entry signal ad have hooked the TV to my PC, and then I put the PC in sleep mode. The TV will do the same. When it is in sleep mode through the PC, the system cvomes back to life if the remote from the cable is used to change channels.

Dell w2600

There is no fix for the W2600. It has a power supply problem.
For sometime Dell was replacing the tv's with new ones, but don't think they are anymore. If you go to the Dell Forum and type in your tv you will see the amount of people that have had the same problem. Unbelieveable. As a matter of fact, Dell is not even making TV's anymore. Guess they gave up. They cannot be fix, cannot get the parts for it.

Dell W2600 TV

Hi have a nice day!
It is probably a power supply problem. Remove cover and check for a line fuse blown or any burnt component mainly at power supply area.

Dell W2600 TV

I have had the Dell W2600 for about 4 years. My remote for the Dell stopped working after 16 months. Since I was using cable I used the cable box remote. However, about 6 months ago a dark shadow appeared on some parts of the screen but the tv was still viewable. Shortly after, my power light would suddenly go out and then come back on after a minute or so. The problem got progressively worse until tonight it was off for most of the show I was watching and would come back on briefly. I popped the rear cover off and removed the metal shield and found most of the wires on one of the wire harness coming from the power supply board burned so badly the insulation was gone and the plastic connector assembly on the board melted. Because of the nature of modular board construction the power supply board and wire harness would need to be replaced and that doesn't necessarily mean the cause was fixed! To me this is a safety hazard. The TV is definitely out of warranty but I wouldn't expect this type of hazard problem. FYI, the parts I can read are made in China....what's new!
