I Have a panasonic mdvd home theater modl#SA-HT920, WHEN I RAISE THE VOLUME IT SHUTS DOWN AND INDICATES F61 ON THE LCD SCREEN HOW CAN I SOLVE THE PROBLEM
You may need a new fan, but you can try cleaning the fan. Remove fan from player. use a few drops of WD-40 or another similarlubricant, the fans label may need to be removed. Note Panasonic fans must be rotating or f61 code will appear. Hope this helps.
The F61 error message is effectively a "protect mode" message indicating that a problem was detected and that the system hasbeen shut down to prevent further damage. This is typically caused by a bad output amplifier pac or regulator. If you can post the specific model number, I'll try to get you the part numbers and costs.
The F61 indicates a problem detected in the output amp stage and the unit us shutdown to prevent further damage. If you can supply the model number, I can give you the part required and the approximate cost.
The F61 indicates protect mode. There is a problem with the output stage of the amplifier section and the unit shuts down to prevent further damage. This unit will require service of the amp section. You can try to contact Panasonic for the service manual.
The output amp pac is an RSN311W64D at a cost of $95 plus shipping.
