Your service provider has to send the settings automatically in your phone or you go there personally. Internet settings are tricky they dont just open automatically

Error on installing java games? i try to install a same game with the same phone, but my phone always saying that the download jar are invalid, while the oder phone installed the game correctly? please...

Hi,

before install games to your phone, make sure the java games (click to go free java games list) is compatible with your mobile phones, know your phone first especially entertainment capability features, including operation system or platform (like symbian, windows mobile, java mobile, flash etc), display screen resolution (like 128x160, 176x208, 176x220, 240x320, 320x240, 352x416 etc), 3D java support etc. (get free java games here) . If you get any sort of error, it's possible the games isn't compatible/or is not designed for your model. You will need to obtain a specific version for your model.

first of all Make sure the game is in a jar format (*.jar file) not a zipped file (*.zip or *.rar), most of games here are .jar format. If it has the zip or rar extension open the file in Winrar/winzip (download winrar) and look at its contents, if it has lots of files like a.class and image files then rename the *.rar (or *.zip) file as *.jar and transfer that to your phone. If in the zipped file it has a jar file and other files, extract just the jar file and transfer it to your phone. some phone models also need .jad format file to install the game, check out this post: Create .Jad file for .jar format Java games and apps, download any of .jad generator tools, create your .jad file and transfer .jar and .jad file to your phone.

When transferring the java games to your phone via usb cable, bluetooth, infrared, memory card (how to transfer photos, ring tones, games to your phone), the games and applications folder may not appear, this is normal. All you have to do is copy the file to the root directory (the main folder) and the phone will put the files into the correct places itself. There is no need to put the game in the others folder as it will just be a waste of time and the game will not work.

open/run the jar file to install the games, then enjoy it.

HOW TO INSTALL APPLIATION IN SAMSUNG S3310 METRO

In Samsung s3310 mobile, installing games is itself a big task and you did that.
The reason is only games folder can run Java executable files(.jar) files. When we move Java executable files(.jar) to application folder,it cannot execute the .jar file. Therefore the applications like call tracer which runs in background mode could be installed but cannot run in s3310.
only games and applications like dictionary(which does not need background running mode) can run in Samsung s3310 in games folder.

Try this 1. Downlaod new applications from www.mobile9.com1
2. Download to pc first
3. Transfer via usb cable to your phone by copying and pasting the jar file into your ''other folder''
4.After all this this check your phone in the other folder and it should give the option to automatically install to applications or games folder.

How can i install .nes or .jar files in kisen n82+ . i had tried pc sync manager but no luck. also tried to copy all .nes to mythroad folder & also tried to copy under games folder still same result ....

Well, as for.jar files, I usually drag and drop to a java folder in the memory card. Then go to the file manager (memory card) search for the file that I just saved in the java folder and open it, it will prompt you to install, let it install. If it does not prompt you to open the file after installation, then just go to Java in the phone's memory and click on it, it should show the games already installed.

How to install Java games on the Samsung L700 without any software or drivers
(I've done this on a pc with Windows XP and don't know how well it would go on any other OS)

In the phone Menu select
'Settings'

Then select
'Phone settings'

Then
'USB settings'

And choose
'Ask on connection'

Plug the Phone in to the PC with the USB cable

On the phone selct
'Media player'

On the PC wait until it detects the phone and select
'Open the device to view files'

Open the folder
'Phone'

You should see the folders: images, Other files, Sounds, Videos

Create a new folder and name it
'Games'

Put any game you want to install in that 'Games' folder

Two things need to made sure of when copying over the games. Firstly make sure you have the *.jar and
*.jad files for each game, if you don't have the *.jad file, you can download a jad creator pretty easily, just type it in Google. Secondly each game has to be in it's own folder, if you just dump all the *.jar and *.jad files directly into the 'Games' folder only the first game installed will work (Poorly too).

Unplug the phone

Now on the phone dial the code:

*#6984125*#

Select 'Storage settings' (Number 7)

Update Java DB (Number 2)

Now on the phone enter the code:

*#6984125*#

Select 'Internals' (Number 4)
It will ask for a master key it is:

*#9072641*#

Select 'Storage settings' (Number 7)

Update Java DB (Number 2)

Turn the phone off

Turn it back on

Now on the phone enter the code:

*#6984125*#

Select 'Internals' (Number 4)
It will ask for a master key it is:

*#9072641*#

Select 'Storage settings' (Number 7)

Update Java DB (Number 2)

The games should now be installed with no problems, I know it's bit repetitive but this has worked the best for me.

(Note: if you delete a game on your phone and then want to reinstall it later you will have to give that game a different folder name before you put it in the created Games folder. It won't allow that folder name again even though you've deleted it)
