My player comes on and the lighting comes on and that is it. i will not even turn off.
I have found that mine looses it's memory due to a dead battery. I have to connect it to a pc, format the player just like you would format a usb thumb drive. When you power it back on, it will flash the memory and rebuild the play list. Sometimes, it will loose my music, but all I have to do is load them back out to the player. It's kinda a hassel, but I don't care because I change the songs on it on a regular basis anyway.
dougboyte, you rule! I plugged my naxa nx-124 MP3 player into my hard drive (tower) and opened up the thumb drive. The song list appeared and I clicked on the "F" drive again (which is the thumb drive). After this, everything was perfect! Whatever you do, DO NOT click "format" as this will erase everything. Just plug the MP3 into your PC tower, click on the thumb drive alert, wait for the song list to appear, and clich the thumb drive again, done!!!
