I have a hp pavillion a1440n and my motherboard is a "Limestone". I need a new bios or is there any way to flash the bios besides the normal standard way

If that computer wont boot to a screen that you can recognize, it is a brick. When the bios is corrupted and it wont allow the machine to start you cannot access any screens that will allow you to recover. It takes special equipment to flash the BIOS when this happens and most places just replace the whole motherboard because this equipment is not used often by repair shops.
also, the bios password can be accessed on startup by using F2, then you'll see that option inside the bios setup.
those batteries are usually inside, under the bottom plastic panel. some others are under the palm rest, either way, you need to open up the whole unit.
