Question about HP Photosmart C5180 All-In-One InkJet Printer
So my magenta colour is out of ink, but I would like to print a doccument in just black and white. The printer won't let me. It's **** on the "cannot print" screen. Replace the following empty ink cartriges to resume printing.
Is there anyway whatsoever to override this? I just want the black and white.
Seriously...I've read all these reviews saying how the c5180 is so great, but I've had nothing but problems with it from day one, and have shelled out so much money fixing it. Now I'm getting an 'ink expiration near' error, which is completely preventing me from doing anything. I have a paper due tomorrow, and apparently I can't print it out now, a %$#@ing black and white document...bc MAGENTA is almost expired. Can someone please tell me a way to override this so I can print my paper? >.>

As far as I know, no. You have to have ink in all the cartridges to print
