Try to connect laptop to extern monitor, if picture on an extern monitor OK, then You must exchange display ribon cabel.

Your samsung wouldn't by chance happen to have a Video Card made by Nvidia would it? If so maybe you got one of the defects.

Does the brightness and/or contrast ratio change when the display goes "fuzzy?"

You can try to get the processor to do a cold start. To do this, unplug the power from the set - turning it off is not enough, you must unplug it!

After 15 minutes, plug the set back in and try to power up. If it works OK, you are good2go!

If that did not work, your set probably has a power supply problem. The best option if it is under warranty is to exchange it.

If your warranty has expired, find a good TV repair shop and ask for an estimate before going any further.

Hi all,

I had simmilar problems ie screen ok when closed but fuzzy when slid open, screen going blank etc.

I replaced the flex cable that connects the screen to the main board and the phone now works perfectly.
