As number of cpus it supports maximum one cpu.
As cpu type it has a socket 478 supports any pentium 4 (not duo) up to Pentium 4 2.8G (p.n:RK80532PC072512)

You may need to upgrade bios to latest version to support the CPU.

I have an abit kd7 raid mother board and just installed 3 1g sticks of pc3200 400mhz and the bios only reads up to 266 any help

Is the board rated for the faster speed? Just putting in faster chips will not work unless the motherboard supports that speed.

ABIT-BL7 make sound

For reference, specifically, this would be indicative of an alarm on the motherboard. The only typical alarm of this nature would be an overtemperature alarm, either for chassis or (more typically) CPU temperature. In this case, it sounds like the CPU fan was failing, causing the CPU to overheat; once the threshhold temperature was reached (BIOS configurable), the alarm sounded. Remember, boys and girls, if your computer is making a sound like an ambulance, there's probably something bad going on.
