My son gave me his older model Brothers MFC-5100C when he purchased a new one. I do not know how to download it as I do not have the cd or the cable cord. He is looking for the cable cord but has no idea where the cd went unless it is also in his storage. Could you please help me. Thank you Loris Keeler

FIRST DISCONNECT PRINTER FROM PC USB (this is important)

Then click on this link here.
Select 'drivers' option in first box , then your OS version (eg windows xp), and language.
download driver software.
Doubleclick on downloaded software and then install.
Connect the printer to usb only after installing software, or when required.
