Panasonic pt-47wx53g tv power light blinkcs 5 times and goes out.

IC4511 has failed on the DG board replaing the DG board as a unit i the only way to fix the issue. The DG board isnt serviceable

Either give me a yahoo or note if light on front of set blinks--count the blinks if it does.

most common is 3 blinks, pause 3 or 5 blinks etc.

3 times LED blinks in Panasonic PT-47WX42 shows problem with convergence out chips failure as this tv has two big black ICs STK392-110 as convergence output, replace them to fix tv problem.

Try checking your lamp door. I have seen a few of these that you need to really wrench that screw down. Let us know.

Replace R7060 and R7066. 0.27 ohm 1watt.

has a short in the power supply also review it fly back

hold the on button then turn up the volume

Replace STK392-110 IC's ( both ) with PANASONIC part
# C5AA00000203.........DO NOT use generic IC's !

How many times is it blinking? That is probably blinking a code because its shutting down. Let me know how many blinks its blinking and I will be able to tell you whats wrong with your TV

Yes, I did try to use the power button on the TV itself. That did not work too. Yes, there is blinking red light too. I searched through several sights and found out that it is an issue with the IC 4511. I could not find a place to buy the chip.


By the way, our local TV dealer asked for $400 to fix this issue. I had already spent $400 on a different repair on this TV, 6 months ago.
