Pride jazzy ultra will not hold charge for more than 15 minutes

Hi. How old are the batteries? How often do you recharge the batteries? How far do you travel? Does the machine operate properly apart from the batteries fading? Neil.

This is an indication that one of the batteries may have a dead cell. A standard load test can clearify that. It could also be caused by the batteries not being charged properly. For instance, they should be charged a minimum of 8 hours to fully charge, or the charger is not working properly. If this is equiped with an on board charger make sure the charger is working by observing the charging amp meter.

2010 Jazzy Select 6 ultra, VR2 control unit. I know they can be slowed down for inside. How do I get the factory speed of 4 mph back?

You need to have a hand held programmer that techs use or even customers. This programmer plugs into the charging socket under the joystick, turn unit on then change speed profile back to 100%. They are set back to prevent accidents for certain patients. Get online and look up Pride Mobility to buy one or have a local dealer send a tech to your location. Good Luck.

What to do if battery runs all the way down on jazzy

Dead AGM and Gel batteries usually will not take a charge. Try to charge them and if they will not, replace them.

Reading the charging gauge for a jazzy 1103 ultra

if you mean the lights, they are just a tool to estimate usage, if you mean the amp guage on the rear, depending on battery state, the needle can start at 2-5 amps and slowely go down as batts are fully charged, if left plugged in the charger will do a random maint charge, and move the needle slightly

Not Charging

Probably the charger has gone bad. You can look on Pridemobility.com for a dealer in your area.
