Hi there, this issue happens if your computer cannot acquired IP address from the router. please test your router first if other computers can connect to it. If Yes, then theres something wrong with your computer wireless adapter. in order to resolved this issue is try to reisntall the drivers of your wireless adapter. it is usually located at the driver disk that came with the system. If other computer cant connect also to the router then there is something wrong with your router. sometimes alll you need to do there is restore the router from original factory settings by pressing the reset key. if same issue happened after reset then you have to call your routers manufacturer for possible replacement. thanks!
I think you are trying to connect to the wireless network on a windows XP computer. The security on the wireless network must be WEP.
In this case you can remove the list of preferred networks on the computer. Add the network manually. If this is the only wireless computer then change the wireless settings of the router.

Is there any computer connected to the router? If not then you will need to connect the computer to the router and the access the router setup and you will find the password there if you don't know the password to access the router then you will need to reset the router and reconfigure the router. Click Here for more info
- Try to reset the router for 10 seconds - Run the setup wizard to the computer - Make sure that you configure it as the same as before - Turn off the modem and router for 5 minutes
After the Steps check the Internet connection again.
sometime this would because your router is thinking that your phone is a hacking device and so it will not allow full connection so if you put a password on you router it would probily fix your problem
You first should have the wireless security for your network, if you do not have it, you can just plug your computer to the router and access its setup page through http://192.168.1.1 (by default) the click on the "wireless" tab where you will be able to see the security that you need to have your computer connected.
Hiya, either the seetings on the router fiewall have changed, or the shock has damaged the circuit board somehow, the speed that the computer says its connected to is whats called LOCAL only, meaning you are connected at that speed to the router only, circuit boards do funny things when shocked, have you tried another router? Id put my money on the board being fried.
Try resetting the device to the default factory settings. Then see if you can get an IP address, either wireless or ethernet, to configure the router through its web interface.
