Samsung g800 im trying my best to connect my usb cable to the pc so i can synchronise music from media player to the phone but its not connecting nd it supposed send a pop up saying to choose which ting i wnt it to run on but nt even that its doing wat should i do

Review the application software and also the cables

try to synchronise ur mobile with pc. for synchronising do this..
1.connect ur mobile to pc with data cable
2.then switch off ur mobile...
3.Now press switch ON button for some second(don't start ur mobile)
4.After tht ur mobile automatically synchronise with ur pc now start ur mobile nd try to connect.

In your box there should of been a usb cable to connect your mobile to your pc...Synchronisation with Windows Media Player
• Transfer music files to your phone directly from Windows Media Player.

Hope this helps

From your Phone, tap on Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > PC connections
Four options are available, for connection:

• Samsung Kies
• Media Player
• Mass Storage
• Ask on Connection

Select the "Ask on Connection" option and tap on the "Save button"

From now on, each time you connect your phone to your PC, you will be prompted to choose the connection type.

• To manage photos, video , playlist select "Samsung Kies"
• To Sync with the music library of Media Player.....the answer is obvious
• To rapidly transfer bulk of information from/to your phone, select "Mass Storage"

You can use itunes software or windows media player software.
It's free.
Note that you will need the usb cable ( if provided on purchase) and connect it to a pc.
Normally we import the songs in the library then we connect the mp3 and synchronise..

The quickest way to do this is to put your phone into Mass Storage Mode then connect it via the USB cable to your computer. Your phone shows up as a USB Mass Storage Device and you can select the folders you want to download your pictures from.

To set your phone to Mass Storage Mode, do the following:

- Go to the main menu
- Select Settings
- Then Select Phone Settings
- Choose PC Connections from the menu
- And then click on Mass Storage.

When you connect the USB cable to your computer, your phone will show up as a USB Storage device and you can just copy and past files to it like you would a USB Thumb drive. If you select the Samsung PC Studio option...your file transfers will take ALL DAY. Just use Mass Storage mode. Good luck.

I have sometimes found that the connection to PC Studio can be affected by how the phone is set to respond to a connection. If you set the 'Ask on Connection' setting and then select the connection type when you plug in the USB cable, it sometimes does not work as well as if you set the connection type first. I have found this with my E900 & G800.

just use the microSD.
put it in your pc, copy the music to there and then just put it back in your phone.
if not, have you tried the Sprint music monitor?
