Question about Casio EXILIM Card EX-S770 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Blurry photos THe last few times I have attempted to use my camera I have had two problems. One, each time I turn it on it resets itself as if I have never used it and goes back to the language selection and and I have to reset the date (which I stopped doing because of the inconvenience every time I wanted to take a photo, so now all my photos say January 1, 2000). Also, every time I go to take a photo, the picture is blurry. I have tried to reset the quality, but it's not helping and, admittedly so, I am not familiar enough with all the features on the camera to figure it out!!! I recalla friend of mine having the same problem with an Olympus camera she owned until someone told her the "macro" setting was wrong. Any chance you can help me? I'm going on vacation in a few days and would die without my camera!!! Thanks a million!

The problem with your camera is not that simple to correct. I can tell you that you can going to the setup menu and do a camera reset and see if that corrects it and if it does then great . I work on these types of cameras all the time and from experience your problem lies in the lens you see the lens has 2 motors 1 is for the focus and 1 is for the zoom if you try zooming out your camera might shut off this is because the zoom and focus has collided and caused a error. the lens most likely needs to be replaced or repaired. Sorry for the bad info some place offer a exchange or a upgrade for your camera for a fraction of the cost of a new one I would like to help you out so you can take pictures on your trip.

Before taking pictures my lcd is blurry but my pictures are great?

If the LCD image is blurry all the time there could be an issue with the screen itself. If it only gets blurry just before you take the photo it's just doing a quick focus before the photo is taken and you're seeing that happen.

Flickering and loss of colour

Problem now solved. I switched the camera on and off a few times and took several test photos. After a few minutes the problem resolved itself. I suspect the cause was condensation, but cannot be sure.

Problem with my Olympus FE-230

When I turn my camera on, the lens goes in and out a few times. Once it's finally on and I look at the screen, everything is blurry. When I take the picture, it's blurry too. If I try to use the zoom to adjust, the lens starts going in and out all crazy and won't adjust right.

Soft or blurry photographs

I would try using a different lens. Check to see if there are any fingerprints on the lens, it could be dirty. The AF works thru the lens itself so if its dirty, that would cause out of focus images.

Was the camera dropped at any time, if so your autofocusing drive could be damaged. Send an email to Nikon and see if they can repair it for you.

Optio M20 Stuck on Zoom in and out!

you have a timing problem, the gears for your housing is out of calibration with your focus lens inside of the housing. you must take the camera apart to correct the problem.there is a flywheel type of ajustment in the top of the camera that can be turned to bring the camera back to its reset position. it is bad to keep turning on the camera as this may danage the gear that is out of time.

Samsung Digimax L730 Digital Camera

I encountered this issue today while taking a photo of my dog she licked the lens... the LCD screen went all blurry and I was unable to take any photos. The thing kept beeping at me and I was about to throw it in the bin until I had a good look at the lens. As there was a picture coming through on the LCD I knew it wasn't completely stuffed however as the camera couldn't focus an image it gives the unhelpful beeps which apparently translates to clean the lens! So i gave it a clean and presto it was fixed!

Just be careful when u clean it make sure u don't scratch the lens with rough material or use chemicals. Hope it works.

Taking faster photos

The time delay is caused due to the time taken to focus. and the blurriness is caused by slow shutter speed which gets adjusted by the amount of light recieved by the camera light sensor.
