Your t1090 will only accept a maximum chip size of 256Mb and so it will not accept the added the 512mb chip as it cannot handle it. 512 is the maximum size of RAM for this machine but unfortunately you cant put it in in one go

Can i use my t1090 emachine with any screen even if it is not a emchine monitor??

As long as the screen is the connection type your computer has be it VGA, DVI, TFT, HDMI you can use any monitor. You are not restricted to a brand. Many of the manufactures do not make the monitors they get OEM ones and rebrand them to dell, compaq etc

About how old is a 17" compaq 7600 monitor?-any reliability issues with this one?

This monitor is 2-3 years old.

There are not any real reliability issues, but it is a crt monitor, meaning that it uses more power then todays lcd monitors.

Its worth about $50 used.

I need to know the reboot menu on the t1090 thamks

What OS is installed?
A lot of Windows machines will let you into the boot menu by tapping F12 continuously when you restart the unit.
Tapping F8 accomplishes the same thing on some machines.

Does this have a cdrom?

YES, it has a 48x CD ROM drive.

It is not a burner.
