Hi, I moved house and while the (2 year old) Protron PLTV-26 Model LT26C1P1 arrived, the power cord and remote did not!
(I do have some cables that came with the TV but that's it). Tried a few places (Best Buy, Amazon, etc) with no luck. Can anyone help?

If it's completely black, then a ribbon or cable internally is disconnected or the panel is bad or the light source (LED or whatever) is burnt out and will need a new one. Chances are it's broken to where you should buy a new TV rather than repair
I own a One-for-All universal remote (model URC-4220), and my booklet says the setup code for a Protron TV is 0178. I purchased this remote at Walmart for less than 10 dollars.

Since it's been a few years since your purchase, it's most likely your warranty has expired. You may want to consider purchasing a universal remote to replace your current non-functioning remote.
