My Netgear print server will find the Epson Stylus Photo R300 but that will not print. I can not find anymore things to try

I tried the Epson trouble shooting and ended up e-mailing them. I had a reply today stating that then did not support any printing except direct from the Hosts PC/MAC to the printer as there was to much information passing between them. It was up to the maker of the print server to sort it out and I have already been told that they were not interested in doing that. So it looks as if I am left with a white Elephant.

How to install new cartridge

Make sure the printer is on and not printing. Have a new cartridge handy, as this installation should be done in one session.

Note if the "cartridge is low" or the "cartridge is empty" light is activated on the printer and follow the specific instructions carefully in the document below for each situation.

See "Removing and Installing Ink Cartridges" in the following document:

How to get Epson R300 stylus monitor to work in Vista

I have the same problem with my stylus C88. Epson never did provide Vista drivers so I have never found a way to get the Epson software to work with Vista. The print driver does work so you will be able to print but you'll have to clean the nozzle manually by pushing the button on the printer rather than using the Epson Monitor. Sorry.

Unable to print through the print server

First, make sure that you can print with the printer connected directly to your computer using a usb cable.

- Make sure the printer driver is installed and you can print with a direct connection
- Get the print server's IP Address, NetGear should have already provided you with this info.
- If your'e using windows xp, go to control panel > printers and faxes
- Right click on the printer icon and go to properties
- Click on the PORTS tab
- Click on ADD PORT
- Highlight Standard TCP/IP Port then click on New Port
- Click next
- Input the WGPS606 IP Address
- Print a test page...

-hope it works!!
