After the battery is replaced, the boot up screen is showing no gsm.Things that have worked in the past (removing battery, then hard resetting twice) no longer work.
Recently (as in Wednesday), I had a VERY big surprise. the SPV M2000 showed no gsm as normal, but after it had started up, what was flashing but the signal indicator (green flashing led) and a full signal bar ( mind you, there was no radio stack or imei number on the smartphone). the pda froze up and I had to do a reset on the machine. the signal was lost and no more gsm signal.
Is this hardware failure or would I have to go back to WM2003?
Hello,
Is the phone SIM unlocked, CID unlocked or both? The quickest solution (if you have an uncorrupted ROM) is to do a hard reset, insert your SIM card and see what you get. It that doesn't work, you should probably start from the beginning and flash a new ROM. You need to know what version of Windows Mobile you are running and the device's unlock status before we can point you in the right direction. When you have that info., PM denco7. He is the expert on flashing ROMs and can advise you on which custom ROM to load on your device and the steps you should follow to do it. He really knows this stuff and is happy to help.
Thanks.
