Chain slipping after changing tire

code p 1753 refers to AT-lock up clutch not engaging/disengaging===causes --wiring--lock up control solenoid A---TCM ( transmission control module
I would start at the wiring harness and connections to ensure that all the pins are clean and straight
then I would get a known good TCM and change it out to see if the fix was effective
because you can get gears, I would at this stage disregard the clutch lock up control solenoid (torque converter clutch solenoid)

maybe for an exacting diagnosis of the problem, a discussion and inspection by an accredited auto transmission specialist shop the deals with your make of vehicle would save money in the long run

You need a new chain, a worn chain will not match up properly with a new gear/cog. You can do this yourself, the chain should have a link that will come apart.

3rd gear is wasted. your going to need to have the trans repaired.

It sounds like your chain is loose. Flip the bike over and loosen up the nuts on the back tire and tighten the nuts as you are pulling the rim back making the chain as tight as you can. You might need someone to help you pull as you tighten the nuts.

This could be the hub assembly slipping I would replace this assembly and the pedal chains call National Gym Supply @ 800-496-7278 and get pricing for the hub assembly and step chain ( L & R )

you may be able to fix your problem by tightening up the chain a bit more. other wise, you may have to have that gear replaced because as you indicate it may have had it's teeth worn down. i would begin by tightening the chain.

You may want to take your bike down to a local shop and have them put a chain guage on the chain to see if the chain is stretched... This should be a free service...
If the chain is stretched, it will tend to want to jump when under pressure... if this is the case, the chain should be replaced before further damage to the gears occurs...
