I dropped my new motorola 3Vxx in water, it was there no more than 10 seconds, The screen said critical error for a short time and then nothing, I have taken it all apart to dry out, it happened about 1 and a half hours ago, no luck yet. I have taken it apart again. Any hope?
Don't turn it on. Take battery off. Put in a bowl or bag of dry white rice, Leave for 3 days. If you are lucky it will be ready to charge and like new after the rice pulls the moisture out.

Hi its a good indication that you still have water inside the phone. to get rid of all the water in the circuts, you will need:
1 get a loner phone ( bcause the process i will show you here takes 10 days minimum to work).
you need a zip container with a lit, some desiccant bags 2 or 3 will do just fine. salt can also be used as desiccant, but it should not touch the phone, use a papaer envelop or something
2 Blow dry the phone 3 put it in the container without the battery 4 put the desiccant bags inside 5 close it hermetically, then go hide it in some dark spot for 10 days and be patient Note that you might need a new battery. Hope this helps
If U just want use for normal call,Try change the normal Sim Card 64k,not 3G 128k Sim Card,then reset phone setting for MMS,GPRS.hope U can sofe the problem,reply me if can,[email protected],thk!
