I tried to tranfer my photos to my computer and

I have a Rebel EOS, took 250+ picutures this Sat. Tried to tranfer my photos to my computer and the computer didn't respond at all. I put the card back in the camera to try using the USB cord and I now get an Error CF message. what is that? still no pcitures.

So I bought a new card for Sunday. Didn't dare try it in my computer just in case. Brought this card to the store and the machine there says there aren't any picutres on the card.

In order to transfer the pictures to the computer you have to turn the switch on to get the computer to detect it, Do you have your manual? if not reply back and I can send you directions. The other thing is you may have not taken any pictures if you did not have it set up right.

My Canon EOS rebel erased the pictures on my sd card

There is freeware programs that can recover your fotos if you haven't tried to place any more info on the SD card. Check on the internet, and try the programs...or, if you're worried that you might not be able to recover the images, take the SD card to a reputable camera shop, or computer store that repairs laptops, desktops, etc. Certainly, someone has a program to recover your fotos.

The problem is myself I don't know how to use it!!!!!!!!!! I have eos rebel T2i with a ef-s55-250 lens I took some photos of my grandsons doing a roof job and they look really far away, thought I had...

Practice, practice and more practice. With the 18-55 lens you are going to have to use your feet as zoom too. What you see in the viewfinder should be what you see in the final picture so if you can not zoom in close enough you will need to move yourself closer.
Don't be discouraged it will get better.

I can help you fix the BUSY Error or Error 99 of your Canon EOS 1000D.

Installation of this Canon EOS 1000D firmware version 1.06 update will solve these problems:
  1. Some cameras may exhibit a phenomenon in which the LCD monitor does not display, the shutter does not release, and the BUSY indication remains lit in the viewfinder.
  2. The message, "Err 99 Shooting is not possible. Turn the power switch to<OFF> and <ON> again or re-install the battery", appears on the camera's LCD monitor, and after the above operation is carried out,the LCD monitor displays in a language that is different from the actual language setting.
See the firmware instructions and download the firmware upgrade by following these Fixya Tips :

  1. Follow this link to download a pdf version of the firmware installation instruction guide.
  2. Follow this link to download the Windows Version of the Canon EOS Rebel XS / Canon EOS 1000D firmware version 1.06 update.
  3. Follow this link to download the MAC version of the Canon EOS Rebel XS / Canon EOS 1000D firmware version 1.06 update.
  4. Follow this link to download the Canon EOS Rebel XS / Canon EOS 1000D Instruction Manual.

I hope that helps.

Will not focus in AF, Will not take picture

Try switching the macro off, if it is on. The macro is for close-up shots. When my mom uses her camera with the macro on, it gets really out-of-focus. I look like a flower.
