How do I use a USB to watch a movie on Toshiba TV? Or hook computer up to TV to watch it?

Hi
Most recent laptops come with a port to connect to a TV, depending upon the input ports the TV has. The two most common are VGA and HDMI, and you will need to check which of these each item has. It is then simply a case of getting the appropriate cable to connect the two together, and then on the TV select the input from the menu, and on the laptop, make sure that the external video port is active (usually a Fnct and "F" key - eg Fnct + F5 for a Toshiba Satellite Pro U200).
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

How do I connect my laptop to my led tv?

Is there a HMDI output on your Laptop or a VGA output. Some TV's have a DSUB input source that allows VGA depends on your laptop it could be HDMI if so TV should have an extraz HDMI input on the back and you change the source input on the TV to the HDMI 2 or HDMI 3 source depending on where you plugged in the P.C. . If HDMI you need to buy a HDMI cable.

How do I connect my toshiba laptop satellite c665 to my panasonic viera th-42pa60a when my hdmi input doesn't work. I want to stream movies.

If your HDMI output doesn't work you may have to use a VGA cable to connect to the VGA port in the back of your TV. There won't be any sound so you'll also have to get a stereo cable and connect that to your laptop and to the audio input on the TV

What tv cables work with HP 6510b please?

You will need standard HDMI only if your laptop have HDMI port. I think hp 6510b not include HDMI port. It has VGA and SVEDIO Output. Your toshiba TV have many PC INPUT Ports such as
S-Vedio, D-sub , VGA like old Desktop PC connection with Projector). So buy VGA cable or S-vedio Cable, then you can connect.

I want to connect my computer to my Vizio TV to watch movies via netflix on my TV screen. If HDMI on TV end, what connection do I need to connect to the back of computer?

What "video-inputs" does your TV have:

* composite video (single cable for video, two cables for LEFT/RIGHT audio)
* component video (RED/GREEN/BLUE cables for video, plus RED/WHITE cables for stereo audio)
* DVI or VGA input
* HDMI input
* S-Video (similar to PS/2 keyboard/mouse, in size, and "round" shape)

What outputs does your computer's video-card have:

* composite (post-and-ring)
* S-Video
* DVI
* VGA
* HDMI

Just match them up.

WHAT TYPE OF CABLE DO I NEED TO CONNECT HP NC6400 LAPTOP TO HD TV TO WATCH MOVIE ON TV FROM LAPTOP? VGA TO HDMI CABLE? THANKS

Hi.

The best way is to get a s-video converter to connect your round s-video computer output to your HDMI port on your tv. This is the best you can do according to your laptop connections. You will need a s-video cable, HDMI upscale converter box and HDMI cable.

The other way is to plug a VGA cable to your tv VGA port if you have one.

VGA to HDMI is also possible with a converter. A standard VGA cable with a HDMI plug on the other side will not work because your computer sends out an analog video signal and HDMI is digital only.

Hope it helps!
